Blumie: Dating built for you

What we collect

When you use Blumie, we collect information you provide directly: your email, profile details (name, photos, bio, interests), and optional health information you choose to share. We also collect device information, approximate location (for matching), and usage data to improve the service.

Location data: We use your device's location to show you people nearby. Only approximate distance is shown to other users. Never your exact coordinates. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

Verification photos: Photos submitted for verification are reviewed by a human moderator and permanently deleted immediately after review. They are never stored on our servers beyond the review window.

To provide the Blumie service (matching, messaging, notifications)
To verify your identity and maintain community safety
To show you relevant matches based on your location and preferences
To process payments for premium subscriptions
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations

We never sell your personal data. We never share your health information with third parties. We only share data with:

Payment processors: To handle subscription billing (Bachs.io)
Cloud infrastructure: To securely store and serve data (encrypted at rest)

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols. Messages between users are encrypted end-to-end. We conduct regular security audits and maintain strict access controls internally.
